What Happens After You Send a Request
From signing to paving day usually takes 2 to 4 weeks in season, plus time for locates and any permits. Here is each step and how long it takes.
We confirm the details
We call or email back to confirm the address, what you want paved or repaired and any photos you sent. Then we book a site visit at a time that suits you.
Site visit within 2 to 3 business days
We measure the area, check the base and drainage, and look at the curb, boulevard and truck access. Property managers can walk the lot with us to point out problem spots.
Written quote within 2 business days
You get an itemized quote with area, base depth, asphalt thickness, mix, drainage plan, start window, payment terms and warranty. Ontario rules cap the final price at 10% over the estimate.
Sign and book your date
A 10% deposit books your place on the schedule, and the balance is due on completion. Contracts signed at your home come with Ontario's 10-day cooling-off period.
Locates and permits
We request Ontario One Call locates, which usually take up to 5 business days. If your job widens a Kitchener driveway or cuts a curb, the City permit needs at least 15 business days, and we can prepare the application once you sign.
Paving day
Most double driveways are finished in one day, and lots are phased over 2 to 5 days. Before leaving, the crew explains the curing rules for your new surface.
